BENCH grew out of the need for pediatric focused performance improvement data, and we have been its proud steward for nearly two decades. Our mission, as defined by our participating hospitals, is:
The BENCHmarking Effort for Networking Children's Hospitals (BENCH) is a networking and cooperative partnership of children's hospitals across the nation, facilitated by mmp|BENCH, LLC. BENCH is devoted to driving performance improvement in pediatric healthcare through the sharing of both data and knowledge. BENCH strives to represent the ever-evolving pediatric community through a united voice for quality, process, and financial measures in a national climate driven largely by adult healthcare measures.
Our member hospitals are directly involved in indicator development and refinement, and investigating best practice solutions. We collect data on over 65 pediatric hospital departments, from Admitting to Volunteers.
